The critical ﬁrst step in creating or ﬁnding a successful racehorse is ﬁnding the best match for your broodmare or ﬁnding a great pedigree at the sales (on paper).

Our pedigree analysis service follows line breeding principles up to seven generations, well established by leading line breeding inﬂuencers Harold Hampton and Ken Beer, see mateyourmare.

What we provide

We can provide a basic or a detailed analysis of a horse by looking at seven generations of its pedigree. Integral to the assessment is understanding the stakes winners of the:

horses stallion;
mares dam line;
mare’s sire.

The basic analysis includes creating a recommended shortlist for your consideration of preferred stallions based on line breeding principles up to seven generations.

The detailed analysis includes a report which incorporates an assessment of a stallion or stallions, mares dam line and the mares sire of a preferred mating or matings and personal recommendation for your consideration.

Weanling or Yearling Sale Analysis

The basic analysis includes creating a recommended shortlist for your consideration from the sale of horses based on line breeding principles.

The detailed analysis includes a report which incorporates an assessment of the stallion, mares dam line and the mares sire of the weanling or yearling and my personal recommendation for your consideration.

Note: We will do a basic or detailed analysis of other individual horses upon request. For example an analysis of a horse from an online sale or a tried horse you are considering purchasing.
